The Applications Administrator will ensure the stability and integrity of critical applications that support back-office business functions. The role is responsible for performing tasks that maintain and document current versions of applications in a changing environment.

Primary responsibilities/essential functions:
Install, configure, and maintain software applications tasks
Perform detailed planning and project management of implementation activities for updates and patching
Confirm systems are operating as expected after datacenter maintenance is performed
Perform Application and Network Infrastructure testing in an Collaborative Team Environment with both Off-Shore, On-Shore IT Teams (Internal, External)
Optimize system performance by taking both proactive and reactive measures to correct and prevent issues
Submit systems and datacenter equipment requests for multiple applications
Create and maintain documentation of application infrastructure topology and system configurations - including versioning and vendor support schedules
Assist with documentation and maintenance of business application standards and procedures
Provide and prepare documentation as requested by third parties and/or internal client information requests for Hardware/Software /Network Configuration, Support, and Security
Assist with landscape design and implementation for disaster recovery testing
Develop and implement custom solutions using scripting / programming
Provide back-up support to the Senior SAP Administrator for SAP Basis and Security, Citrix, PGP command line Server Administration and other third party SAP add-ons
Perform transports, monitor system refreshes, performance tuning, upgrades, and integration of various SAP components
Perform system health audits to validate system status and report to basis team lead
Minimum of three years of hands-on application administration experience on SAP ECC and BI, and other SAP add-ons
High quality written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem solving and documentation skills
Proven experience to take initiative, work independently, and follow through
Experience with troubleshooting user access, application connectivity and application outages with IT staff, partners and vendors
Hands-on experience with system upgrades and disaster recovery planning
Advanced client support and interface skills
Scripting language experience in both production and development environments
Experience with Service Now IT Service Management or similar system
Experience using file transfer protocol to interface application data files within the our datacenters and to third party datacenters
Experience administrating SAP Financials, ReadSoft Invoice Management, Revport Billing System, PeopleSoft, Citrix XenApp, and/or Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (including Hyperion) is a plus.
PGP Server Software experience is a plus.
Experience with SQL, .Net, Java and other programming languages are a plus.
