Our client, a non-profit health insurance company, is currently seeking a Senior Recruiter for a 5+ month temporary position with the opportunity for an extension and possible contract to hire opportunity. The position is located in Woodland Hills, CA.

The hours for this position are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

  • Pay Rate is $34.76 – $47.76 per hour W2

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to define their talent needs and to provide best in class recruiting services by developing recruiting and sourcing strategies and maintaining service level agreements from a consultative approach

  • Build strong relationships with candidates by targeting and proactively sourcing exceptional candidates. Attract and hire qualified active and passive candidates via research, cold calling, online searches, networking and job fairs. Develop and maintain internal database of candidate pipelines.

  • Create and edit job postings/advertisements in various media

  • Conduct phone screens with candidates and schedule on-site interviews

  • Conduct/coordinate candidate assessments and reference checks

  • Manage offer negotiations and create offer letters

  • Meet or exceed targeted cost-per-hire and time to fill goals along with other recruiting metrics

  • Communicates company values, culture, work environment, business strategies, benefits and other areas of interest to prospective candidates

  • Ensure compliance with recruitment and employment laws

  • Other tasks or duties as assigned

Must have several years of prior recruiting experience (agency experience preferred) doing direct placement. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. AIRS and/or PHR certification preferred. Able to work independently and set and achieve Daily/Weekly/Monthly Goals. Must show high attention to detail, good judgment and possess excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in using Microsoft Office, internet search tools, applicant tracking systems, database programs and job boards.
